When i was 5-6 years old, a girl on the playground gave me a piece of candy and as i took it from her my mother says “what do you say?” I said “Thank you”. That was over 30 years ago, and til this day, I’ll address everyone as sir/ma’am, regardless of age, or ethnicity. I’ll respect you until you give me a reason not to.

I personally find this story unbelievable because I keep hearing on the news and other media that everyone’s racist, but especially the colon conquerors. Must be some kind of alt right racism dogwhistle but nice try, sicko.
