This is soo REALLL, then i’d be having mixed emotions (sad and happy at the same time)

For me it was my Nan’s cabinet, it was made of a dark coloured wood and it smelled like nothing I’d ever experienced before, like sour or tangy? Haven’t come across anything else that smelled like it though, I can just remember the smell

    3. Scent and memories are closely linked. I love when it takes me back to a happy memory but I hate when it reminds me of family who have passed on or friends I am no longer in touch with.

    4. I have many good ones like everyone else but one of the weirdest one is:

Smell of gutter/open sewage, and it reminds me of some really happy times.
My grandparents (mother’s parents) lived in a small town and it had open sewage, we visited every summer.
Their house was inside a narrow alley with 3 stories building both side preventing sunlight to enter the path.
This resulted in a constant smell of sewer as the water was always running as it was a populated locality.

That was the mane street/path to go anywhere, so to go to the store to buy candies/ice creams we went and that became a part of the memory.
Also there was a small shop ahead for a while owned by an uncle and that was really fun as whenever we went he would hand over a treat.

Simpler times before the mind developed and saw the world.
