I do wish people would stop pointing out that the kid is neurodivergent in this context. His reaction was heartfelt and genuine and unrelated to his neurodivergence. Let him talk about it if he wants, otherwise just celebrate how genuinely good of a kid he appears to be

Crying and loving are basic human emotions. Whether you are man or woman. I remember when I was 8 i had to go to the principal’s bc I started a riot on the school bus (how i got everyone to fight on that bus IDK) well i was very sorry bc parents were going to be mad and i was crying and the principal said to me boys don’t cry don’t cry again. He was more upset about me crying than the fight i caused. It took me over ten years to realize how much it affected me. Now I probably cry too much; i’m not afraid of my feelings though. That’s how i think of some of these grown men in our country who say they are so masculine; they are scared of their own feelings. “Love is harder than hate to grow so let your love show” ❤️

And the offspring of the great orange pumpkin (assuming they are his offspring – I haven’t seen any DNA test results yet) are always looking at their father with thinly veiled contempt bordering on hatred. The expressions in their faces seem to be questioning how and why he is still alive. They are only sticking around for the inheritance.
