I decided to try reading for 30 minutes every day long time ago, I have never been a huge reader mostly because I find it hard to focus for long period time. I was unsuccessful for a lot of times and this is the longest i have managed to keep the streak going. I managed to finish 4 books during this time, which is a big deal for me.

Finding time was tricky, but I figured out a few hacks. I’d wake up a little earlier and read right after waking up (before my brain got too distracted), during lunch breaks, or before bed if I hadn’t managed to fit it in earlier. It helped to have those specific times set aside.

A few things I learned: sticking to a small, daily habit is way easier than trying to do longer reading sessions. My focus has actually improved, not just when I’m reading, but in general. Reading became a nice escape from stress and gave me something to look forward to. Plus, I picked up a lot of new ideas and felt like I was using my time more productively.

    Here is proof.
