I just can’t fathom the fact there’s a whole country of people who use something as inaccurate as cups and doesn’t see a problem with it??

It’s a neat idea, I just feel like the learning of really basic fractions at 14 years old is pretty vital for life.

I do not l want to clean those and I believe that is why this has not been done.

my main issue with this is that measuring cups are usually 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, and 1. the 3/4 cup is unnecessary and they skipped the 1/3.

I wish he made the circles slightly smaller but taller for the 3/4 cup > 1/2 cup >1/4 cup so that they all stack but still keep the same shape

Cool. Now they don’t fit inside one another so they aren’t taking up too much space in my kitchen drawer.

And they all fit in… the square hole.

If only someone had invented a mesure scale where you don’t need those kind of fraction of things 😮

handle should be on the other side so you can scoop with the rounded edge

It’s a fantastic idea, especially for the young ones. When you get older, of course, you need to switch it up with the normal ones for practicality and it can save some space. That’s why the measuring cups that we have today are popular to the masses

Well recipes will call for the numbers anyway (1/4, 1/2 etx), so it’s just a matter of “this look same as that” usually, but this is a cool visualization nonetheless.

All the while still using the arbitrary measure of “cup”

1. Difficult to clean.
2. Don’t stack.
3. Unfeasible to make out of stainless steel.
4. Measuring in mass rather than volume makes much more sense.

It’s a neat idea! Idk why people are shitting on this. When cooking, having a visual like this removes the thinking out the equation and will definitely help!
