Hot and practical tend not to coexist with armour (for men and women) but it’s fantasy so I think people getting angry about female armour is sell especially if they don’t get just as mad about Conan’s armour

Realistic armor of any type > “feminized” armor of any type.
Full plate with sculpted metal tits is marginally better than a chainmail bikini, but only just; it’s still a shitty design, IMO.
And I might actually hate “battle heels” more than worthless sexy armor. Nothing pisses me off quite like a woman in full plate wielding a comically large zweihander while wearing 9″ stripper heels.

Agreed, especially since there are some that show it can work pretty well like AC Odyssey, Metroid, Rise of the Tomb Raider (Sacra Umbra Skin), any Soulsborne game, Mass Effect, or even Halo.

Bikini armor shouldn’t exist, unless you’re not looking into immersion at all. Games should adapt exposed areas in armor as areas where youll receive guaranteed crit if they hit you. But again, that’s if you’re looking for immersion.
