I remember when yeet was considered a cringe word (or at least by the people I knew of). Now it doesn’t seem so bad when I hear these new phrases and words. But I’m sure Gen alpha will find the slang and new words from the generation after them cringe as well.
Edit: omg I also just remembered that SWAG was a big word growing up. A little embarrassed by it, still feel like it’s not as bad as the new slang, but again, every generation will feel cringe towards the slamg of the generation after them.

Gen Z is starting to know what it was like being a millennial and hearing “bussin,” “bet,” “lowkey,” and “no cap” every 5 seconds.

As millennial I refuse to engage in this, our words were so fucking stupid and thanks to the internet I can look up exactly how stupid we sounded.

Accepting that we were cringe too and shouldn’t continue the trend of mocking younger generations -> *chad*
