I grew up in the 90s and we’ve had a local ice cream vendor with a cart walking around town selling. I’ve experienced watching my friends buy ice cream because my family can’t really afford to buy one and the guy just gave me one. I grew up and had child after college and my child at age 6 enjoyed ice cream during summer from that same guy when I was small. We supported his business and I give him a gift every Christmas for his life long generosity to kids in my town.
