I used to help this dude out who hung out outside my second job. I bought him food, donated money, got him a tarp. Talked to him every time I saw him. He disappeared and I wondered how he was all the time. He came by the restaurant to tell me he had an apartment and a job. He was enjoying hot showers and had reached out to some family. Made me so happy. Makes me wonder how he is today. That was a decade ago.
