They say you killed a country, John…because of bad reviews.

    1. It’s been claimed that John Wilkes Booth (an actor) was the George Clooney of his day, but this isn’t entirely accurate. His brother Edwin Booth was far more successful, whereas the only thing John really had going for him was good looks- his acting skills weren’t great. Basically, if Edwin Booth was Chris Hemsworth, then John was Luke Hemsworth.

Some have argued that a frustration with his lack of success in acting was one of the factors which led Booth to assassinate Lincoln (though if this is true, it was definitely not the *main* reason.)

    2. The fact that this sad alcoholic excuse of bs maskarating as a man took down a colossus like Lincoln would never stop to make me sad.
