I can’t help but think this is taking a woman who soffered severe post partum depression to the point of delusion and holding her up as a “lol women stupid, they kill baby for career” point of view.
Rather than the reality of a person being out of thier kidn and doing something horrific they will never be able to reconcile with themselves as they become sane again.
All because the newspapers used thier profile picture.
Ive seen the black people twitter sub saying how if she was black they would have used a mug shot but honestly a mug shot qould have been more empathetic than a work id photo.

In case no one knows…on top of the media using a damn LinkedIn headshot instead of her mugshot, this woman was only sentenced to 8 years in prison.

A few things of note. 1. Where’s the mugshot? Seems like at least news in the U.S. leads with that photo when it’s a POC. 2. Isn’t this a symptom of hustle culture? She literally killed her new baby due to anxiety of not fitting in at the executive level. All around a WTF 😳 but just immediate things that came to mind for me…
