My salt rock deodorant after five years of almost daily usage vs a new one.

It’s very effective, costs about $10, doesn’t have to dry and doesn’t contain any nasty stuff that enters your body. I can’t recommend it enough. The only downside is if you drop it, it completely cracks and you will probably have to buy a new one.

      Five years. Wow!
      Specific Use Questions:
How many times do you apply?
Did it cut down on yellow stains?
Do you wet the rock or your skin?
Do you use more than once a day?

Thanks for your seasoned and experienced insight!

These things are so goo. I bought one in a London market not being truly convinced but thought I’d give it a go. I wish had bought loads of them. I’d forgotten what they were called so now I can search for one. Thanks!

    4. Weird how other brands are getting rid of the aluminium while this one is 100% that

Wow! I started using this kind a while ago. Deodorants and antiperspirants was ruining my sensitive armpits. Nice to see it lasts so long!

Package instructions say to wipe it dry from water after use. That way it lasts longer. This is at least from the salt rock i bought.

Unscented deodorant… my man no one wants to say it but you still smell like BO. Unscented deodorant is a lie and a scam speaking on behalf of everyone not nose blind to your scent.

I tried a similar salt deodorant several decades ago. It was completely ineffective. How do your friends/coworkers/significant others feel about your choice of deodorant?

    8. Wait what is salt deodorant? I have an allergy to most deodorant/antiperspirants so i use dry spray but what is this stuff? Does it work?

People fight about if companies using aluminum or not are good in the comments. Meanwhile i’m just amazed a company makes a Deo that last for 5 years while using it almost daily.

    10. For everyone complaining about this, I’ll explain that it does and doesn’t work at the same time. I use a similar type of deodorant and I can safely say that it takes a lot of time and a whole lot of sweat for my armpits themselves to actually start stinking, so in that regard it’s amazing. However, I will say that your clothes still stink as fast as they usually would without deodorant. A change of shirt will fix this instantly as your armpits themselves don’t stink, however it can be inconvenient at times.

So no one here has mentioned that they put a space between “salt” and “deo” on the product at some point in those past 5 years? That’s what’s mildly interesting to me

Well I’ve learnt a new word today and it’s ”astroturfing” lol. I just wanted to share how weird it is that this product has lasted me for such a long time. I wasn’t trying to push this product on any one, in fact, I didn’t even show the brand in the picture. Despite what some commenters think about my scent it has actually worked as a deodorant, at least for me.
