We change. You are a different person than you were 7 years ago. You’ll be a different person 7 years from now. It would make sense you leave the orbit of some people as you change. Especially if you’re growing.

This just made me think about people with genuine blind spots in their behavior towards friends. In that case, a bit more of the first box would be appropriate, whereas skipping directly to the second one is not so wholesome anymore.
The trouble is to find the right duration for staying in the first box before moving on to the second one.

I exactly follow this. It’s good to have feelings on people but at the end it’s always you. They just a part in your life, just the amount varies.
