There are 3 types of haters:
Venom and Black Manta: they hate their arch enemy more than anything but if they die then said hater will just revert back to their normal life and do something else.
Dr. Doom and Lex Luthor: they don’t particualrly hate the person, just the fact that someone has harmed their ego. They just need to prove to the hero and to the world but most importantly themselves that they are superior. Once it’s accomplished by whatever means they will continue being egomaniac assholes.
Reverse-flash and Joker: their entire personality is about the person they hate, their whole life revolves around fucking up their weirdly romantic partner’s life. If said partner would die they would kill themselves or try to resurrect their partner.
