July 6, 2024The first Domino Pizza was opened in Stephenville, NL in 1958. The Domino’s Pizza Co. [founded 1960] attempted to sue the owner for copyright infringement, only to discover this restaurant opened two years before the American chain. The lawsuit was dropped and this small pizza house is still open.
