Imagine being the remarkably talented Dame Harriet Walter and being the least recognisable person in a photograph!

Their remarkable performances brought Jane Austen’s classic novel to life, making it a beloved film of the 1990s.

What an incredible movie with brilliant acting all around. This is one of those films that never gets stale after rewatching it.

The first time I ever saw Emma Thompson, it was in Henry V (1989), where she largely speaks French (and some mock English) because she was playing Princess Katherine of Valois.

I thought she was French for quite some time.

When she turned up as a barrister in *In the Name of the Father* I could hardly believe it.

One of the best to ever do it.
