    1. Is playing video games, eating junk food, and arguing about nothing on the internet supposed to be a description of “problems?”

    2. at least op posted this early enough so those of us with jobs could give it a fighting chance at karma lol

Blaming capitalism is easier than admitting we binged on video games and Doritos by choice

    4. I don’t blame capitalism for playing videogames, eating junk 24/7 but I blame them for the price of doing this things. Fuck them, I want my addiction for free. /s

    5. Yea its reddit’s fault if my full time job as a mechanic can barely pay for rent and bills. Surely if i started waking up at 5 and working out two hours with an ice bath in between i would be a millionaire right? Fuck you

    6. Maybe someone will come soon and tell that they are professional dog walkers and only make 50 per week which is bullshit because they should be paid well

“There’s a system inherent to coercion and exploitation that we’ve found ourselves towards the bottom of. Wages have stagnated and price gouging continues to force us to monetize even hobbies as multiple jobs fail to cover basic needs.”

Video game and chip bad -this guy apparently

      Absolutely no one said that.

You’re trying to move goal posts and youre not very good at it.

      What.
Its my fault that the planet gets destroyed and billios of people live in poverty?

    10. I don’t remember anyone saying “me eating junk food argue online and playing video games all day is the fault of capitalism!”

most people acknowledge, that they have these issues. But inflation especially with housing, companies making products worse for the purpose of cash grabs and it being awfully difficult to find an entry level job are real issues that are out of the control of common people. what are we gonna do change the economy on our own?

those are the things I see most people complaining about and no rightist can justify those by just calling people lazy.

Am I one of these Reddit leftists? Even though I work over 50 hours/week between two jobs, but still can’t afford to live fully by myself?

    12. My problems are housing prices, low income, affording and having time to home cook after a 10hr workday and health bills.

Ok boomer, it’s my fault whatever we are doing isn’t working for the vast majority of people.

It is however capitalisms fault that videogames and junk food are the only affordable past time at this point

I was working and making $20 an hour – I got laid off last week because the economy has been extremely bad – but I live with 5 other people, every single person works, and yet we are struggling as it is, rent, food, power, utilities… Everything has gone up, no amount of extra work is gonna help unless wages suddenly go up. I barely have any kind of junk food as it is since I literally can’t afford to go out and buy it any time I want. I play games sometimes, sure, but it’s not like I am able to spend my entire life on them. Maybe look around before you make something like this.

OP isn’t wrong, sometimes we choose our own misery, and an individual absolutely chooses to indulge in video games, online dissent, and comfort food. Saying that everything is ok in moderation,so as the saying goes,
      “Nothing in excess”

    16. Everything is designed to get you hooked up and its out fault for getting hooked up

    17. inquisitor0731 on

People apparently get VERY upset when you point out that possibly SOME things might be their own fault and not the world’s.
