Is this what Canada is like?

    1. One thing, of the europeans I’ve met, is how little they understand about just how spread out Canada’s population is. Canada, in my opinion receives an almost failing grade when it comes to public transport in most of its more densely populated areas (for example southern Ontario as a whole).
However, it’s impossible to get away from traditional automotive transport at this time.

    2. imagine thinking government run “healthcare” is actually a good thing!! what is that like? is it like believing in santa still?

I have seen public transport videos on reddit.
      Not interested in that noise.
America has free Healthcare, you just gotta join the military to get it.

Both our infrastructure and healthcare system are getting worse. Very little investment in either, despite so many people moving in.

    5. It’s funny you felt a need to label Canada, as if anyone else loves maple leaves like us enough to put it on their flag.

    6. On the flip side though Canada’s housing market is so hilariously busted that it makes the United States look reasonable.

Canadas entire population is the same as california, but spread out over massively more land, and Canadians are just better/healthier/nicer people. Might be just a tad easier to manage that huh?

And i mean healthy as in their healthcare doesnt make much of a difference in a population that is generally healthier to start with.

      Universal healthcare for southern Canada****

Up North some communities have 1 doctor available in a 4 town radius

As a Canadian I can confirm this is 100% true. In most of the country you need a car. I drive 14Km to work everyday which for Canadian standards is a short commute but that would be hell on a bike in the winter.
